Privacy Policy

EarnFinder (“we”, “us”) is an online directory of third-party earning platforms. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the website, why we collect it, and how you can ask us to delete it. We do not create user accounts and we do not process payments.

Who we are

The operator of this site can be reached at wjianwei666@outlook.com. Use that address for access, deletion, unsubscribe, and other privacy requests. We will not ask you for a password because this site has no login.

Information we collect

• Newsletter email. If you submit the subscribe form, we store your email, the page you subscribed from, a status (pending, synced, or unsubscribed), and the time of signup.
• Click metadata. When you use a “Visit Platform” link, we record an anonymous click event: opportunity id, truncated session cookie if present, referrer, user agent, and time. We do this to understand which listings people actually open, not to sell a profile of you.
• Analytics. If Plausible is configured, that service receives page views and named events such as affiliate_clicked. Plausible is designed not to use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
• Technical logs. Our host and reverse proxy may keep IP address, timestamp, and requested URL for security and uptime.

We do not intentionally collect government IDs, payment card numbers, or precise location. Third-party platforms you apply to will have their own forms and policies.

How we use it

We use the information above to:

• send Earn Weekly or similar updates about verified listings, if you opted in;
• measure which opportunities and articles people open;
• keep the site secure and debug failures;
• respond to emails you send us.

Newsletter signup is consent. Click logging and first-party analytics are our legitimate interest in operating a working directory. We do not sell personal information and we do not use the data to rank public listings by commission.

Sharing

• Email provider. If Beehiiv (or another newsletter vendor) is configured, your email is sent to that provider so we can actually deliver mail. If it is not configured, the address stays in our MySQL table newsletter_subscribers on the same host as the site.
• Analytics. Plausible, when enabled.
• Hosting. The virtual private server and MySQL instance that run EarnFinder.
• Legal requests. We may disclose information if required by law or to prevent abuse of the site.

When you leave through /go/, you land on a third-party website. That site’s privacy policy applies to anything you type there.

Cookies

We do not set advertising cookies. The site may use a short session identifier so repeated clicks in one visit are grouped. Your browser may also store a cookie from Plausible if that script is loaded. You can block cookies in your browser; the catalog will still work.

Retention

Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Click events and server logs are kept only as long as they are useful for operations (typically months, not years). We may keep a minimal record of an unsubscribe request so we do not email you again by mistake.

Your choices

You can browse without giving an email. To stop mail, use Unsubscribe or write to wjianwei666@outlook.com from the same address. You may also ask us to confirm what we hold or to delete it. We will not create a public account portal for this.

If you are in the UK, EEA, or a similar regime, you may have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, and objection, and the right to complain to a supervisory authority. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA; we do not sell personal information as that term is commonly used in those laws.

Children

EarnFinder is aimed at adults looking for online work. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you believe we have, email us and we will delete it.

International visitors

The site is written for people in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and similar markets. Hosting and processors may be in other countries. By using the site or submitting an email, you understand that your information may be stored outside your home country with the safeguards described here.

Changes

We will update the date at the top of this page when the policy materially changes. Continued use of the site after an update means the new policy applies to later visits.
